• PEDL seeks proposals on how private firms can contribute to climate change mitigation, adaptation, and pollution reduction.
• Research should focus on PEDL-priority countries (all LICs and specific LMICs). Proposals for research in other countries need strong justification.
• Topics of interest include energy, transport, industrial production, trade, risk management, and innovation.
• PEDL encourages proposals that:
  • Address challenges faced by firms in adopting climate-friendly practices.
  • Analyze the impact of policies and regulations on private sector behavior.
  • Explore innovative solutions for climate action and environmental protection.
  • Utilize existing data or remote data collection methods (e.g., phone surveys) due to COVID-19.
